Botanical Extracts and Formulation Development
Development and production of botanical extracts and custom formulations, with the same process control and quality approach as for medicinal mushrooms.
In addition to medicinal mushroom extraction, we also develop and produce botanical extracts and custom formulations. Our approach follows the same principles — process control, repeatability, and high product quality.
Our experience working with demanding mushroom matrices gives us a solid foundation for extracting plant materials that require a specific approach to solvent selection, temperature conditions, and concentration.
Spruce bud extraction
One of our botanical projects is the development of an extract from young spruce buds (Picea abies) — a seasonal material rich in essential oils, polyphenols and resins. The process is based on ultrasound-assisted extraction and low-temperature vacuum concentration, not classical maceration.

Custom botanical extractions
- Extraction of spruce tips and selected botanical materials
- Flexible solvent systems: ethanol, glycerin, or water (EtOH / glycerin / H₂O)
- Custom formulation development (taste, viscosity, concentration)
- Filling and final product preparation available
- Same QC approach as for mushrooms (HACCP / GMP, traceability, dry matter control)
